Continuous further development of the test system with regard to customer requirements results in expansion and improvement of test system software at regular intervals.
- Before starting the software update, save all data to the test system database.
- Decompress the zip file onto your PC, which contains the secuapp.tar update file.
- Save the update file to a compact flash card.
- Insert the CF card into the slot at the back of the test system. If the CF card is of the correct type, namely type II, and if the system is able to access the card, the yellow LED at the right-hand side of the slot lights up.
- Open the setup menu and touch the update symbol.
- If more than one file is displayed, select the secuapp.tar file. The filename appears in the white selection field in the footer.
- Tap “Open”.
Attention!
All data which have not yet been saved to the database are irretrievably lost during the software update! A security prompt must first be acknowledged with the OK button. We assume no liability for data loss.
Automatic sequence:
- Update preparation: advancing blue bar
- Operating system is rebooted: initial screen with an advancing blue bar – pause: approximately 30 seconds
- The update is loaded (duration: approximately 7 minutes): two advancing blue bars
- Operating system is rebooted: initial screen with an advancing blue bar
- Calibration prompt
- Logon window appears
- The software update has been completed and the CF card can be removed after pressing the button at the left-hand side of the slot.
